Besides working on the story for our fan fiction I've been working on the cover art for it too. My oldest son, Alex, started little league baseball so a lot of our time has been wrapped up in that which leaves little time for much else. So it's been slow going finishing this. I wanted to emulate the cover from the Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition but put my own spin on it.

My boys got Minecraft for the Xbox for Christmas and they got me hooked into playing it. I thought it would be fun to start a comic project with my older boy, Alex, who loves to draw as well. So we are writing our own Minecraft Fanfiction that we plan on turning into a comic book. We're coming up with the character designs right now while I'm writing the story. I hope people have as much fun reading it as we are having making it. Update: Here are several character design sketches for the story. I wanted to keep the characters fairly boxy while still using some artistic license with their overall shapes and designs. This way I can add my own
